REALTOR® Days at the Habitat for Humanity Wiarton Build, July 2009

REALTOR® Members from the REALTORS® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound (RAGBOS) were on hand July 27, 2009 to present a $10,000 cheque to Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce (HHGB) in connection with their “4 Homes for 4 Families” project taking place in Wiarton.  The Gold Hammer Sponsorship was further enhanced by the 19 REALTOR® volunteers who donated their labour at the building sites.

Making the presentation to local Habitat Chair Glen Fryer was Jason Steele, RAGBOS Community Services Chairman and Neil Devlin, RAGBOS President together with REALTOR® volunteers.  RAGBOS Members, in cooperation with the REALTORS Care Foundation, have donated a total of $20,561 towards the “Wiarton Build”.  

RAGBOS has identified Habitat for Humanity as its primary donation recipient and in the past eight years has contributed more than $60,000, plus hundreds of volunteer hours, towards Habitat for Humanity projects in the Grey-Bruce area.
